Orientation for PowerBuilder Online Courses

We've used a number of different font, color and layout styles to indicate different types of information in this course. Here are examples of them and what they mean.

At design time, we used Times NewRoman font size 12. We are aware of the fact, "size 10 is the standard size on desktop". However, we went ahead with size 12, because, you might need to read lot of text on the screen and we don't want you to miss any periods or commas or colons in the code. However, the font name is not specified in the HTML code. That means the font you specify in your browser will be the default font. We recommend to set your browser default font to Times NewRoman size 12.

This is the normal text (Times NewRoman, Size 12, Regular, Black).

This is the caption text for pictures (Courier New, Size 12, Green, Bold, TypeWriter).

Whenever we refer to the text that is displayed on the picture, we use Courier New, Size 12, Bold, Maroon, TypeWriter.

Whenever we refer to clickable screen text or menu options, we use Courier New, Size 12, Bold, Blue, TypeWriter.

The code is written in Courier New, Size 12, Bold, Teal, TypeWriter.

All Questions are in Times NewRoman, Size 12, Blue color.

Page headings - Arial, Size 18, Bold.

Other headings - Arial, Size 14, Bold.
