Docking and Floating a Pane

Panes are docked by default in the painter window. To float a pane, select Float option from the titlebar's popup menu. In case of tabbed panes, select Float option from the tab's popup menu.

To dock a floating pane, select Dock option from the floating pane titlebar's popup menu. It will dock exactly in the same place from where you floated that pane.
